Wednesday Spotlight - Daily Planner

I got an email from a gal today who mentioned Anne Ortlund's book "Disciplines of the Beautiful Woman" - if you haven't read it, you really should! - and she was asking about planning pages that would help make up the notebook that Anne talks about in the book.  Today's Page Spotlight is just such a page... The Daily Planner.

THE BASICS:

Classic Size (5.5" x 8.5")
7-hole punch
Victorian Line
Undated
50 pages / $5.95  (50 days)

THE DESCRIPTION:

This is a two-page spread per day daily planner, with space for daily notes and lists on the left side of the page spread, and a place for your daily priorities, expenses and schedule on the right.  Simply date the pages and jot in your "things to do" on the day you plan to accomplish them - or make a running "to do" list on the daily notes page and transfer it to each day as necessary.  The space on the top of each Daily Page is perfect to think through your goals for the next day, and, while the schedule only runs from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm in half hour increments, there is extra space for morning tasks on the right, and evening tasks can be jotted down on the facing page.  Don't forget the Expenses section on the bottom of the page!  What a wonderful tool to remind us to use our resources for God's glory!!

This page is also helpful when used alongside the Weekly or Simplicity Pages.  We all know that some days are busier than others.  The Daily Page is the perfect choice for those days that we need to fit a lot of tasks into our schedule and need the extra accountability that the time slots offer.
