Time Flies!!

"Teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."  Ps 90:12

After a week of traveling on "cruise control" after our vacation, I'm ready to jump back into planning and scheduling with new enthusiasm.  It's nice to step back once and again and take a look at your priorities, your plans and your purpose to be sure that you are focusing your time, resources and energy appropriately.  It is so easy in today's culture to get so caught up in what is immediately in our view that we neglect to focus our attention on what is eternally important.  Unfortunately, with computers, TV's, cell phones, DVR's and all their various "relatives", there is very little that *isn't* in our view today, is there?  If you can, this week, try to take some time to "unplug" and prayerfully consider your current focus and activities in light of your relationship to Christ, your priorities and your values.  Are you spending your time wisely?  Have you gotten lax about spending time in the Word each day?  Are you spending more time on the computer than you should?  Are there projects that you need to think through to figure out the next step to take? Are you planning ahead for clothing and gift needs this fall/winter?  Hmmm.... I think I need to stop writing this post.  It is very convicting!!

Let me leave you with a Happy Monday prompt for this week.  This one will help you think about the passing of time...

My favorite clock is...  OR  I use a timer because...

One last note!

I'll be working tomorrow on dating the classic Home Journal pages through the end of the year.  I plan to have them available for purchase on May 1st, but keep an eye out here on the blog if you are interested, because I'll post a note just as soon as they are ready!
