A February Check Up

Hello friends!

Just a short practical post today to encourage you (and me!) to revisit the goals and plans we made at the beginning of the year.  Are you on track with your Quiet Time plans?  Your (next) Christmas saving and shopping?  Your crafting goals?

How has your planner been working?  Are there areas of your schedule that need to be changed or thought through again?  Have you given your husband and your children any special attention lately?

 I know from experience that it is easy to get off track at the beginning of the year.  It seems to be the time that sickness and stormy weather abound, and often the necessary changes to our schedule during those times make our routines and goals obsolete.  So what do we do when that happens???  Right!

START AGAIN!  : )

Carve out a few minutes to grab a cup of coffee, tea or cocoa and curl up with your planner for a mini planning session. You can ask yourself questions like,  "What has worked well this past 6 weeks?  What hasn't?  Are there changes that need to be made to my schedule to keep my routines flowing smoothly?  What projects did I have in mind to work on this year?  How am I doing?"  Be sure to list out any plans and goals that have been pushed aside, and then think of ways to reinsert them into your schedule - even if it's only 15 minutes at a time.  You'll be glad you did!
