{Mastering Your Menus} Dinners

Merchandise Research: Dinners

Today we’re going to talk about the meal we usually think of when we make our menus. Dinner (or supper, as it’s called at my house!). Most of us don’t have the time or resources to make fancy, gourmet type meals - in fact most of us would like ideas for crockpot recipes, or things that could be made ahead and put in the freezer. Here’s a great crockpot recipe resource… This gal made something in the crockpot every day for a year, and blogged her successes and failures. I’ve found a number of fun recipes there.  There are also tons of recipes to be found on Pinterest and other cooking blogs and sites.  Just type in your main ingredient into your search engine and you can have new recipes galore!

Today your challenge is to list a number of main meal entrees, both crockpot and non-crockpot.  If you can come up with 20-25 entrees that would be great.  And perhaps you can try a new recipe or two to add some variety to your lists!! The more the merrier. :-)

Be sure to ask your family members some of their favorite meals. You may be surprised! I asked my son once when he was younger and he came up with something like waffles, crepes, pepperoni bread and ice cream - as one meal. :-) Hmmmm…. maybe not!

Have fun with this. You should be accumulating lots of resources for our next step!!
