"Let all things be done decently and in order"
One of the things that I am working on in my life right now is orderliness. I've noticed a tendency I have toward getting sidetracked and leaving jobs almost completed rather than following through. What would our lives be like if Christ had come to earth and lived - teaching us, training us - but then didn't complete His work on the cross and rise from the dead? We would be of all men most miserable! Let's follow His example in the "little" things of life - not striving for perfection, but showing our gratitude toward Him in our perseverance and completion of the tasks He has given us. Things like putting away the clothes rather than leaving them in the basket, putting the dishes in the dishwasher rather than leaving them on the counter, and even closing the closet door after hanging up our clothes can make a big difference in the orderliness of our home with just a few minutes of dedicated time.
Have a blessed week!
